coat project update
So, I ended up not using the kelly green, instead I chose a stiff dark grey wool (3 yards for 6000yen) which is fairly thick, and will be warm for winter.
Not a lot of detail to the coat besides the buttons (10 for 2800yen) and pockets, which, for now, is fine since it's due this Wednesday, but next time I'd like to put in some top stitching, an inside pocket, a more exaggerated collar, another seam in the back? Something a little more dramatic.
I have to finish making six button holes, draw the pattern with a 1/5 ruler, and write up the order to put it together.
